Committees

The Idaho Business Coalition for Education Excellence (IBCEE) committees were formed to make meaningful, measurable and systemic recommendations to the IBCEE board and full membership. The committees focus on the most compelling issues surrounding education. Committees members are passionate about Early Childhood Education, Student Achievement, Education Leadership, Teacher Quality, Retention and Professional Development, and Higher Education.
Early Childhood
Supports education initiatives and legislation that encourage early childhood development.
Student Achievement
Encourages high school students to take more rigorous coursework and increase overall college preparedness.
Higher Education
Finds opportunities to better educate students to meet the demands of the future and improve the workforce.
Education Leadership
Supports ongoing leadership development for school administrators and leaders.
Teacher Quality, Retention & Professional Development
Supports and develops ways to help retain quality teachers through development and compensation.

College Access Summit
The College Access Summit will be held July 7-8, 2010 at Boise State University. This two-day Summit will focus on professional development, networking, best practices, and how Idahoans can work together toward common goals to better serve our students. Educators, policy makers, and members of the local business and non-profit communities are encouraged to attend.
